It’s here, it’s actually here, the day when Crosspoint Douglasville kicks off. Our theme for the first two weeks is, “The time is now.” It’s amazing how God speaks to us in our preparation- He speaks to us and challenges us in the areas that we are going to talk about. The thing that God has challenged me with is staying humble. I do not need to get caught up in the "What could be", or "what I want to happen," I need to enjoy the present. If we are always focused on the past or the future, we miss so many opportunities in the present. The time that God wants us to focus on is now. He may have something huge for us in the future but the time to prepare for that is now. He may have used you in the past in a huge way but we can’t rest on what God has done on the past; use that momentum for the present. Now is the only time in history you will have to impact the people that are around you at this moment. Every year, we let countless opportunities slip by because we are looking to the future or to the past. The time is now.
“This is the day that the lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Ps 118:24
“Today is the day of salvation” 2 Cor 6:2
Today is the day...the time is now.
